Two years ago, Yang Yi broke up with Tian Yu for an opportunity on the East Coast. Now, as Yang Yi is about to graduate and return to China, she was invited by Tian Yu to spend her last week, which is asked by the Chinese government to self-quarantined abroad in their old home in Orange County.

This short film is an attempt to convey the intimate dynamics involved in the relationship between the two protagonists, and shed light on their complex psychological states. This is achieved principally through a subtle yet composed audio-visual style, accompanied by metaphors and imageries. Lastly, the filmmaker intends to expose the authentic and sincere representation of typical foreign students who navigate life and its struggles in this unfamiliar covid-ridden world.

两年前，杨仪因转学同天雨分手，之后两人再无联系。两年后的毕业季，天雨邀请杨仪回来家里，度过杨仪回国航班前最后的隔离期。

从东部乘火车抵达加州的橘子郡后，两人在黏腻的夏日重逢。她们试图找到新的相处方式，却明白彼此或许依然存有感情，但因人生规划不同，只能告别。

短片尝试通过平静但隐含张力的视听风格与生活细节的隐喻，展现两位女性的关系与情绪。同时也希望呈现疫情下生活实景，是为时代波澜下个体无力但真挚的情感。
